The Big Draw – Celebrate Drawing throughout October!

West Yorkshire Print Workshop are celebrating Drawing throughout October with a series of events as part The Big Draw festival -

Make and Cake! Saturday 7 October, 11-3pm

Join us in the Gallery for The Big Draw family friendly activities , tea, coffee and delicious cakes.

Have fun and get hands on with some giant Printmaking to make tracks and trails with a variety of handmade rollers and wheels!

This event follows The Print Run 2017 (a sponsored 5K run around Mirfield). Come along to cheer the runners over the finish line and then stay for making and some cake! Inspired by all that running we will be making our own print run of large Monoprints using a variety of found objects.

Make your very own Flick book! Design and draw characters then bring your drawings to life in this fun holiday workshop with artist Kim Searle!

The Big Draw October half-term holiday children's workshop.

This workshop will be a relaxed and fun holiday afternoon, letting people go at their own pace. Materials, guidance and technical assistance are provided but everyone is encouraged to push their own creativity, and most of all have a good time!

This October West Yorkshire Print Workshop celebrate the Drawing with The Big Draw 2017. Join in this workshop , October Frogs Bears and Unicorns exhibition and a series of family storytelling events and children’s workshops.

This is great opportunity to get your fingers inky and creativity flowing this summer with Kim Searle from Darn It! Workshops. Kim Searle is an experienced artist specialising in crafts and printmaking with a focus on sustainability, wellbeing and having fun through making.

Join in and make your mark on our Big Draw drawing table. Be inspired by our Flourish exhibition and add your illustrations, marks and doodles to our collective artwork. The resulting work will be displayed in the entrance at WYPW for all our visitors to see.
