This exhibition of prints by members of West Yorkshire Print Workshop responds to the theme of Earth, Water and Air. 16 artists are presenting hand-made prints produced by a variety of techniques including lino cut, etching, dry point, screen print, wood block, mono print and collagraph. All the art works on display have been made using the facilities at our print workshop in Mirfield and this is a great opportunity for members of the public to by unique high quality prints.
Artists taking part in the exhibition are: Andrew Hambleton, Bobby Nixon, Brian Hindmarch, Cath Brooke, Emma Lawrenson, Graham Riding, Helen Campbell, Ian Wrench, Jenny Thomas, Loretta Carney-Venters, Mike Smith, Sean Lingwood, Shelley Burgoyne, Steve Harvie, Susan Wright and Tim East.
The exhibition opens on Tuesday 25th April with a special viewing from 6-8pm. Everyone is welcome.
On Saturday 6th May we are celebrating ‘Print Day in May’. Join us for artists’ Open Studios, drop-in print activities, prize raffle, tea, cakes and singing! Pop along any time from 10am-3pm and be part of an international event celebrating printmaking across the globe.
