Joanna Bourne – Artist/Printmaker

A printmaker based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Joanna has been printmaking for the last 20 years, specialising in linocut, woodcut and drypoint. She is a member and teaches at Northern Print Workshop.

Serena Smith – Artist/Printmaker

Serena Smith is an artist and printmaker. Following initial study in fine art she worked at the Curwen Studio, where she was Stanley Jones’ assistant for twelve years. During this period she trained as a studio printer and produced work collaboratively for many artists. Her work now includes a range of educational, technical and collaborative projects alongside her own studio practice.

Serena is represented by Eagle Gallery, London, and Tarpey Gallery, Castle Donington.

Ruth Gamble – Huddersfield Art Gallery

Ruth Gamble is from Huddersfield Art Gallery. Huddersfield Art Gallery has supported the Flourish Print Award since it’s very beginnings. It provides the star prize of the Flourish Award, a solo exhibition in their wonderful gallery. The gallery presents an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, featuring the best of art, craft, photography and sculpture from regional, national and international artists.
