Print Day in May 2019

Whats happening

On Saturday 4th May we will open our doors once again to celebrate PRINT DAY IN MAY 2019, come and join us! We welcome everyone to come and experience the whole building in action and have a go at making a print, with drop-in workshops, family activities, artists’ open studios, hot drinks and cake. It is also a great opportunity to have a good look around our ‘Human Figure’ exhibition and browse our shop which showcases work by WYPW members and local printmakers.

How it started

Print Day in May began locally in the greater Monterey Bay Area of California in 2007, and has become a worldwide annual event. In 2018, artists from all 50 US states, 46 different countries and all 7 continents participated! By providing a creative synergy and a forum for sharing and building community, this event unites printmakers worldwide and fosters a better understanding and appreciation of printmaking. Participation is easy.
