Pinole photography (photography without a lens) is one of the simplest and most creative forms of photography. This one-day workshop will start with a brief introduction to the principles of pinhole photography. You will then make your own pinhole camera, using common household materials, and create your own black and white pinhole images on photographic paper, which you will develop in WYPW’s own darkroom. No previous experience of photography is required.
Jim Souper started making pinhole photographs while studying photography at Batley School of Art and Design. Examples of his work, on medium and large format film can be found on his website, www.jimsouper.co.uk |
