We are very excited to welcome Norman Ackroyd RA to WYPW in April, for a demonstration of how he uses etching to create his magnificent landscape prints.

He will be revealing the secrets of sugarlift, showing you how to make your own aquatint box, along with many other essential hints and tips along the way, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Norman Ackroyd was elected a Royal Academician in 1991, and awarded a C.B.E. for services to

engraving in 2007. He hails from West Yorkshire and studied at Leeds College of Art from 1956 - 1961. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see a real expert at work.
