The West Yorkshire Print Workshop opened it's doors once again this June and we had over 300 happy visitors.
The print rooms were all open so everyone could see our superb facilities in action and artists studios were also open so visitors could see work in progress.
There was plenty to do, including demonstrations and an exhibition of artwork by children from local schools.
Free activities for all the family were offered, such as mask making, puppet making, creating a sock creature, jewellery making and printing your own bag for life. It was a lively event with people even being given the chance to have a go at hand drumming (apologies to the neighbours)
Funded by the Kirklees Community Grants scheme, all activities were free of charge.
Next time we open our doors will be the Host Open Studio Trail in September... see our what's on page for further details. |
