This hands-on, practical session will explore mono-printing without the need for a press.

Using a Gelli plate, paper stencils and found objects such as bubble wrap and cardboard, you will explore colour, pattern and texture. Water-based inks are used, along with inexpensive materials which can be easily sourced. This is a great workshop for anyone new to printmaking, or for those who want to expand or refresh their printmaking skills. It is also a great way to learn new skills to pass on to others, and is recommended for primary school teachers, educators and facilitators who want to learn a fun and simple technique to use in the classroom.

If you have a hectic life and have to squeeze your creative time into a tightly-packed schedule, our CREATE! Saturday Sessions are for you! You can learn a new skill and indulge your creativity, and get home in time for tea! All our workshops are suitable for beginners and are taught by expert tutors, and the price of the course includes all materials.
